On Tuesday, July 15th, Teton Science School Camps started for Lucie (WOLVES) and Brady (Kings of the Mountains). We caravanned over with the Greens, so that Corb and Chad could mountain bike down on the Jackson side of the pass. After dropping the guys at the top of the pass, we brought Brady and Lucie to the TSS campus. It was a quick drop off - as soon as the kids were checked in, they were led off in their groups! Then Kath and I took the younger four kids to the Wilson school playground to wait for Corb and Chad. The playground has been upgraded since we were last there. We finished off the evening with a fun dinner at the West End Yard in Victor (the new "Timberline").
I'm so happy that Brady will have this experience, and I am anxious to see him and hear how it was for him! The plan was for 3 days at the campus (ropes course, wilderness preparation), then 4 days backpacking in the Gros Ventre range, and then 2 more days back at the campus for a service project and a canoe excursion to String Lake.
