Finally, we got on the river Thursday, July 1. We floated Bates to Buxton in the drift boat. The Teton is flowing high and dirty, which means a fast float and lots of mosquitoes. Fortunately, the wind was blowing which kept the mosquitoes down but also made a few turns in the river challenging.
All the kids brought along their fishing rods. Brady fly fished. Connor threw a spinner and Maggie threw a rubber butterfly from her Barbie rod. No fish, but lots of fun. Nancy even got on the sticks for awhile.
