Big Hole Crest Trail

On Sunday morning (7/6), we headed up to do a section of the Big Hole Crest Trail - Heather, Sharon and I hiked/ran;  Corbin, Harley, Cheyenne and Reagan were on horseback.  We went from Pine Creek Pass to Patterson Creek Canyon, a section of the trail none of us have done before.  We thought it would be about 10 miles; it turned out to be about 15.  I'd say for the first 3/4 of the trip, we were very happily enjoying the trail and the views.  By the last few miles, we were ready to see the end of the trail.  I think those of us on foot were a little more ready for it to end than those on horseback.  Corb came out of the trail with a big smile.  Harley's been wanting to go on a trail ride with Corb for awhile now - glad we could make that happen.  All in all, it was a really good hike, with some beautiful running sections.  Good to explore a new trail!

Really cool to see Teton Valley to the right and Swan Valley to the left!

Spectacular Teton Views (photo doesn't do justice)

The trail has lots of ups and downs

Love the view
