The Fourth of July, 2014

What a great day!  I met some friends (Heather, Corina and Sharon) for an early morning walk, then I went down to Victor and secured a great parade-watching spot for everyone!  I enjoyed the peaceful break between the walk and the parade.  Corb and the kids joined me, as did the Greens, the Doyles, Sharon and Brian Schmidt (Sammy was in the parade), and Heather (Harley, Cheyenne and Reagan were in the parade)!  After the parade, we ventured up to the Targhee pool.  I've never seen it so full!  Crazy, but fun for a couple of hours.  Corb went for a ride on "Perma Grin" and tested out some of the new features they've built for mountain bikers.  He definitely came back with a grin!  We got a little more time with the Greens and Doyles at the pool.  They came a little later and took turns biking also.  This gave the kids a good bit of play time together before the T-storms cleared us out of the pool!  We rounded out the day with a very fun BBQ at the Wilcoxes -- Schmidts, Batchens, Lymburner-Greens, Langs, Wilcoxes ... lots of laughs and good fun.  Margaret is obsessed with the idea of getting a dog ... I think we may be dog sitting in the next couple of days!

Happy Independence Day, Everyone!
