Although there have been reports of many bear sightings in the valley, we have not seen the wildlife we are accustomed to seeing in our yard - deer, grouse, variety of birds, etc. The other day I looked out and two fawns emerged from the woods. We all enjoyed watching them wander and linger in the yard, grazing and (we assumed) looking for their mama. Later that day when we returned from an outing, a big doe was in the sideyard. We haven't seen any of them since, but hope they will return at some point.
